Ducks get a conditional third rounder, Isles get James Wizniewski. I thought I remembered hearing about some contract disputes between Wiz and the Ducks, maybe they are trying to unload a headache? Seems they could have gotten a much better pick for him than that, or at least a good roster player. They are going to be quite thin on D this upcoming season.

brookbank is a damn mess. that guy is NEVER in postion, watching him on the devils was flat out painful. whenever he was in the lineup you could count on 2-3 mistakes a game during his max 10 minutes of ice time.

Went to the Ducks rookie scrimmage a few weeks ago and was not at all impressed with Fowler on defense. Way to soft and disinterested, lets his guy walk right out of the corner to the quality scoring areas. He can definitely move the puck up the ice, so he's got that going for him...

Was going to ask the Ducks fans what they thought of the Wizzer but I think I'd got the answer. I was quite pleased seeing this deal go down. Thought it was an issue of salary dump or fear of not being able to resign him.
