I've had guys blasted out of the solar system on meth trying to sell me power tools at a gas station. Can't say I'm not tempted to get an amazing deal, but just can't bring myself to buy hot shit.

There are also scammers who are good at a bait-n-switch routine where they show you the iPad, you agree on a price and with sleight-of-hand, the guy switches it with a box containing the mirror. Happens to people all the time. Your best defense is to smile and keep moving when these criminals are around.
