I see 6-6, with 7-6 or 5-7 a real possibility...

I said 6-6 as well but I think it could be an interesting year. NIU is going to be down after losing Harnisch and the only 2 other questionable games early are both in Iowa City. IF ( big IF) Iowa can win those first 5 games while developing their younger guys and settling the RB situation then I could see a 9-3 type season as a psossibilty since the schedule is relatively easy. However I think it more likely that Iowa loses 1 or 2 of those early games and finishes in that 6-6 to 7-5 range.

As of now, we're favored in 9 games.

Big underdogs to Michigan St (14.5?) and Michigan (10.5) and to Nebraska (3.5).

We very well could be 5-0 going into Michigan St. I hope we are but I doubt it.

I can see you all being 5-0.... but Minnesota some how seems to beat you.... and the Iowa state game is always very interesting...

However if you do make it to 5-0... I also could see 9-3.... with 8-4 being more likely due to my thinking of teams always lose a game they shouldn't... but you could also win a game I'm not thinking at this point that you will...




This early stuff is all for fun anyway, I always laugh at nfl folks going well if all goes good they can win 10 games, if not they won't make the playoffs......
