Things I think will make a difference in this game.

*Tevin Coleman is 4th in rushing yards with 841, has 8.0 average (13th), and has 8 touchdowns (t7th). He is the only player in the country that has rushed 100+ yards in every game. If Iowa's defense can force Indiana to rely on the pass, that would be huge.

*Iowa's passing/receiving does good. Can Rudock and Beathard put the ball right where they need to be for the receivers? Will the receivers catch it when it is right there? If so, it might not be close.

*Marshall Koehn needs to stay accurate with his kicks. Hawkeyes don't need him to go back to what he was 1st few games.

Indiana's offense is putting up pretty significant numbers. What is most odd is that they are rushing more than they are passing. If Indiana runs for 300 yards Saturday, I think Iowa gets beat.

This is a game that Iowa has to win!!

Well, hard to complain about this one other than some lapses in defense. Seems like the coaches have finally figured out how to get the ball to guys with.....you know....talent vs. the Vandebergs of the world. Looks like Rudock is going to be the QB as Sunshine didn't really get much time in there.

Fucking ISU game......we should be undefeated.

Yep. Phil Parker fell asleep a few times. I was disappointed with the lack of QB competition but Jake did play one of his best games as a Hawkeye. It's a pretty simple formula, throw it to Smith, Powell or KMM a lot.

They seemed to open the playbook up a little more too which was a breath of fresh air

Worst thing today was the Indiana QB getting hurt. With the backup doing absolutely nothing in the passing game, KF had no reason to keep the offensive playbook open - especially in the 2nd half.

Can't remember the last time a KF-led offense scored 38 points in the first half!!!!!

Good win Hawks.
