One of my favorite bars played this movie on a Monday night. Everybody agreed that when the word Nazi was said everyone takes a shot, needless to say a lot of us didn't make it to the end.

it needed more focus on the Basterds and less focus on the Rench Jew
I can see that. Even though the "rench Jew' part of this movie was intriguing to me.
yea, it wasn't a bad storyline... but the previews made it seem like Brad Pitt and company were just going to be killing krauts the whole time... not some French Jew girl and her movie theater
She's about to kill the third reich, I'll be back.
Meh, its his 4th best movie. Behind Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Django Unchained.
I'll give you Reservoir Dogs, but, imo, this is his 2nd best movie.
I definitely liked it more than pulp fiction and reservoir dogs. haven't seen Django yet. I think it's his best one.

Django wasn't that good... music really mad it worse.
2nd Best scene from IB...
one of my top 5s of all time as well.
Django is right up there also.
I am not saying Django did not have it's moments. When that kraut guy shot the sheriff and asked for the marshall was hilarious.
Overall though, the implausibilities in the story line outweighed any humor or clever references.
