OMG, I joked about this yesterday. Is this for real?

I can confirm that the #Colts are indeed set to interview Jeff Fisher tomorrow for HC vacancy. Source tells me they like him a lot, know Rams problems not entirely on him. He's currently the front runner, I'm told.

The 49ers wanted to interview Ballard last year for the GM job but he turned it down. If this is true and Ballard is behind Fisher, I am so glad he is not our GM

Allbright is usually pretty good about these type of things and claimed Toub was the plan B. Going to be interesting to see what happens.

I guess thinking long-term it kinda makes sense to hire Fisher... If your roster is trash and you want to be good in ten years, you kinda need a bunch of high draft picks to turn things around. There aren't a whole lot of available head coaches out there who will guarantee high draft picks like Fisher can.

I think you could convince me a team would consider Jeff Fisher as a defensive coach. Or a consultant.

I dont think anyone would be dumb enough to sign him as a head coach.

Imagine what he can do with Andrew Luck if he can do what he did with Nick Foles...
He might, Rabbit, he might...seems like Foles is a LOT more mobile than Luck, though

And a guy like Schwartz may get some calls, but he seems like one of those classic "better off on one side of the ball" coaches, like Norv Turner or Wade Phillips
