Two guys that seem to really jump out at me while running the ball in practice are Jay Finley and John Griffin. Both of those guys look explosive, with great balance, decent power and not afraid to block. Could be a couple diamonds in the rough, but with Benson, SCott and Leonard on the roster, plus allowing for Pressley, both these guys may have to go on the practice squad, and if they perform as well in preseason games as they are in camp, we may not be able to hide either one on the practice squad.

You mean they do not have the talent to ever seen any regular season games, or they will never even get a look in preseason games?

If you are talking preseason, I think that is inaccurate as I am sure both will get plenty of 2nd and 3rd team reps.

With Benson, Scott and Leonard under contract, and the need for a fullback in this offense (Pressley) they will most definitely be going towards the practice squad. However, if they perform well in preseason, we may not be able to hide them on the practice squad after other teams have a chance to see them and evaluate them.

Sometimes the answer is not always so easy as just, "they will never see the field", especially when you haven't defined what you mean by "the field".

No, sorry, I meant regular season. I'm sure they'll play in the preseason, and with our luck, they'll play well and get nabbed from our practice squad.

I'd probably keep 5 backs personally and Gina little short somewhere else. I'd def keep Finley as my 5th. Go short at S or something. We only have 3 we need to keep anyways.

I think that is the exact depth chart at S coming out of preseason and into regular season barring injury.
