Sometimes you just cannot stop these types of HUNH spread offenses.

If Louisville, Cal, Texas Tech, or Ole Miss wants to drop 40+ on someone, they do it.
And they do it versus better teams than Texas.

Cal has scored 48, 55, 51, 40, and 50 in their last 5 games.
Texas doesn't have nearly as good enough defensive talent to even think about shutting them down.
They might need triple digits next week in Tempe.

That is what they do. It would be pretty arrogant to think fresh off a (5-7) season we would be the team to shut them down on their own home field.

I was more disappointed in the unforced offensive errors (the 2nd half penalties and stupid interceptions).
But, overall this team is clearly moving in the right direction. Settle the hell down.

Not this Orangeblood. I predicted last year at the end of the Baylor game that if Strong didnt' fire Bedford, that would be his downfall and that would get him fired. I said 7-5 this season. Still, that doesn't mean I have to sit back and accept Vance Bedford being the reason why this team can't take the proper step forward and be a contender again.
