I know you asked essentially who is better but it depends what your team looks like...What does your team look like? It is never that simple to me.

As far as how would you draft? I would usually take the RB, even a rookie, before a TE...that's just me though.

Yeah trying to pick in a vacuum is aggravating. Last start up dynasty I did, Kittle went 2 rounds earlier then Taylor. However most teams started out drafting established stud RBs round 1 ( 8 teams took a RB round 1). Also this was a TE premium league. I did trade Kittle this off season in a dynasty league for the 1.01 rookie draft....really need you to give us enough info to go on. Both are excellent assets and need is going to be the key for any decision.

You have Andrews.

or you traded Andrews and Swift for Kittle, D.J. and McFarland.

...and you got Swift with Woods and a slight IDP downgrade.

so, it’s hard to see a vacuum...

If no Andrews, who are you falling back on at TE?

Or wait...maybe I’m totally forgetting that you already own Taylor. (So assuming this is Taylor for Kittle, instead of Swift and Andrews, I don’t see the need to get Kittle for a hit at RB which is why you started these trade talks in the first place).

I’d want Taylor more than Swift or Akers.

Kittle. Taylor has proven nothing. Kittle has.

love me some Marlon Mack, but I'll say it

Colts won't pony up the cash to keep Mack, they'll hand the reigns over to Taylor/Hines once Mack's contract is up next year

he was injured, and isnt used in passing downs much, his market isnt gonna be super high.

colts also have a BUTT load of cap space

promise that they don't spend it on RB though. you don't remain that conservative with your cap space to spend it on a position that has proven to not be worth it in today's NFL.

my opinion: they are saving that cap to keep their young strong defense in tact. they'll have a number of great players to sign in the next 2 seasons, as well as the OL.

That being said, I think we all know Kittle is a top TE, a better player and the proven player. If you have RB depth and are in need of a TE there is no question you get Kittle.
If you have a nice TE option and think you can flip him for another nice RB target, have at it but I would just keep Taylor in that specific case.

Really like Taylor behind that line.

Tough to not take the RB over TE here.

Hmmmmm

I don't value any TE high enough to trade a potential stud RB for. Just the way it is. Love Kittle, but, he's a TE.

Would much rather pay a significantly smaller price for Waller, or any number of guys that are gonna be in that TE5-12 ramge
