I'm sure this is some Michigan fans dreaming, but if there is any chance, Michigan needs to pursue it. This could keep Mattison in town, and give Michigan one of the best head coaches , with a proven track record, in the country.

Insider: John Harbaugh would accept Michigan job if offered

:suds: Here's to wishful thinking!

I could see him getting out of that with the whole Ray Rice situation. If it's true that he encouraged the team to cut him right away like some reports are saying, I have a feeling the Ravens would be happy to oblige to his wishes to return to Ann Arbor if it meant avoiding more bad publicity.

I wouldn't be surprised if Harbaugh walked after this season. There is talk from Ravens fans about this happening.

As you so eloquently stated on Friday, you are a buckeye fan. Therefore your opinion is not important here

I guess correct is not important???? Well that makes sense in TSUN.

Mich will land Harbaugh. He already has 1 step out the door in SF.

I know the guy has a superbowl ring but can he recruit? I like him better than his brother because he's not a douche, but Jim is a proven commodity in college

Good, about time Michigan got a real coach. However, I'll believe when he's on the sideline with a headset.

Six year deal seems to be the current trend. And in order to get one of the Harbaugh brothers to come to Michigan, it would probably take $50 million over a six year period.....yeah, that's over $8 million per year.

Also, I believe Michigan AD Dave Brandon would have to be let go too. Brandon is the Jerry Jones of college football...he's too hands-on for the Harbaugh's, and Brandon would clash with either brother almost immediately, especially Jim.

Despite being a former Michigan QB and DE (bench warmer) under Bo Schembechler, Dave Brandon would probably not be missed by most Wolverine fans because of his meddling ways. Prior to becoming Michigan's AD in 2010, Brandon was the CEO of Ann Arbor based Domino's pizza since 1999. After Brandon left Domino's, the chain re-invented/changed their pizza recipe because the old recipe apparently sucked under the Brandon administration.
