I have a cousin who dropped his 4 wheeler through the ice at Harlan County Lake last winter. He GPS'd the locale and went back this spring on his boat, with a rope and hook and believe it or not hooked it and pulled it out. He tore it all apart, dried it out and it still runs.
Curious, I see you gents are from Nebraska, what species do you generally fish for during the ice season???
Michigan day time: Perch, crappie, gils, white-fish, occasionally pop a walleye, spear season Pike. Bass are closed till June though they generally don't bite anyhow.
