...any more preseason hype about the Chicago Bears. The team sucks, year after year, and Bear fans are fucking stupid following a bunch of goddam losers. Every fucking year it is the same... Bears are called a great team in preseason, GB beats their asses during the season, Bears watch playoffs from their couches. I mean we already have the Cubs, but God in His infinite wisdom blesses us with the patsies known as the Bears.

I am here to eat crow, and all the other Bear fans should do the same.

Not a break down. Just a dose of reality.

Being a Cowboys fan, you should know this from 10+ years of mediocrity. But thanks for rubbing it in.

The OP is correct.
Your QB is schizophrenic and most people assume your defense is better than it actually is because of legendary Bears history.
You do have the best WRs in the league tho.
It seems to me you can hang most of the losses around your QB's neck

No worries. All you need is an elite QB.

The problem is the qb. You'll never go anywhere with him.

The elite qb couldn't even face the music on his radio show. He no showed it today.

Trestman likes to sling it too much. The more you put the ball in Cutler's hands the more TO's happen.

He tends to have long periods where his play-calling neglects Forte, and thats when bad things tend to occur.

I didn't have any strong notion about how good or bad the Bears might be this year, but I did think their offense had a chance to be really good. Forte, Marshall, Jeffries, and Bennett in the offense that Josh McCown was able to effectively run was enough to make me think that. Cutler is so up and down, however. I probably should have realized that near the middle of the pack is more likely than the upper tier.

Every year the NFL gets less predictable for every team no matter what happened the year before. As far as the Bears, I can totally understand the frustration knowing the talent is there on offense but doesn't always perform. Cutler has been the same pretty much his whole career. Boom or bust. He just never seems to get any better from year to year.

I tried telling you this before the season....oh well. As I said in August, until the Bears do something other then pop up in the playoffs every 4 or 5 years there is no reason to buy into any hype or as a Packer fan, be remotely worried about them within the division.

One good thing is Forte is killing it for me in my FF league and you guys are losing at the same time. Win/win for me

To me Forte is one of the most underrated players in the NFL. The guy is probably the 2nd best all-around back behind Jamaal Charles and he just is not getting the chance to show those skills in this offense right now. It would be like the Broncos having Manning yet deciding to run it 70% of the time...You just don't eliminate one of your best weapons like that.
