Having Wilson, Lynch, and Harvin all as potential weapons on any play, especially when the D doesn't know who has the ball until one of them is running free, is going to be a very dangerous weapon this year.
I know Harvin wasn't in the Lockette TD but the idea applies. Play fake to Lynch holds the Dline, Wilson keeps the ball and runs left pulling Matthews and forcing the CB to let Lockette go early to go for Wilson, easy dumpoff to a wide open receiver.
It's a thing of beauty and it's almost unfair. It's like the defense just has to let someone beat them. The question is just which guy beats you for less yards?
Bad play by the CB, on that play you got to trust your Linebacker to make a play and he was there to make a play. The CB had no reason to pull off Lockette other than poor coaching and or discipline or both. Was a thing of beauty though and i do expect a couple more CB to fall for it this season.
