In the meantime, cornerback Micah Hyde has signed with the Buffalo Bills and center JC Tretter has agreed to terms with the Cleveland Browns. Hyde's deal, according to a source, is worth $30.5 million over five years. Terms of Tretter's deal weren't available.

Lang is the guy from this group that I hope the Packers keep.

I will miss Hyde because he wore so many hats. However I think this is a clear indicator that the Packers want to get faster on defense. As for Lang, I just worry TT is trying to be cute and use Lang's recent surgery to keep his price tag down. I dont want it to bite us.

really, outside of his rookie year, Lacy has not demonstrated that he can stay on the field and be effective for the better part of a full season - at least Lang has proven that he can

Lacy had a bum ankle for a good part of the rookie year. He did stay on the field and was effective as you said.
