They were stupid enough last year to trot out Herbert to get slaughtered in his college debut. Why wouldn't they be dumb enough to let Victor and the boys loose on his fragile recovering neck?

Really kind of questionable though after beating Utah they should reach bowl eligible so what on earth would there be motivation to risk him for in this game?

It's about match ups. The whole A beat B who beat C so A should beat C doesn't work in college. Stanford has a huge size advantage over both of WSU's lines. WSU still doesn't have much of a threat on the ground and Stanford did a decent job against Rosen and what little real passing they have seen since their back to back losses against the trojans and SDS. Does WSU have an advantage? Probably. Mostly because it's at home. But there is something off with that offense. Vegas right now has it WSU -2.5 and that's as the home team. WSU will put up yards, but can they keep from making the turnovers? Right now I don't see them playing clean enough to like them in this game.

You can talk about matchup but we've been a horrible matchup two straight years for Stanford. Essentially dominated them two straight years except in the rain storm we couldn't punch it in the end zone. Oregon State and Stanford were the only teams I chalked up as a W before the season, then Tate happened and I chalked that up as L. Falk has a quarter on Senior night to put Stanford away, if not Hilinksi will do his thing and Love isn't 1/4 the threat that Tate is.

So if Herbert does start and play the whole game I'll go UW 35 and Fucks 20. They cover but a comfortable win.

If he doesn't start and/or doesn't see substantial game time it will be UW 45 and Fucks 13. UW covers easily and has 4th string walk ons in before the start of the 4th quarter.
