Days after Boise State and Virginia Tech wore special Nike Pro Combat Uniforms, players started approaching Terry. "I was bombarded with ‘When are we going to get to do that?'"

Nebraska, of course, isn't partnered with Nike, but Terry expects adidas to do something similar to Nike to keep pace with its rival. "They both feed off of each other," Terry said. "It's a big business."

Would Nebraska agree to wear zany uniforms if approached by adidas? That's up to Tom Osborne, Terry said.

I wonder what he really thinks about it, the Adidas uni curve can't be far off

funny that Terry went on to say if NU rolled out on the field in an all black uni he would want to be wearing a bullet proof vest

Focus on the game and the task at hand and NU will get all the exposure they need..

Just stick with traditional...I hate this, "pro-combat we wear something different every week" crap. If they players want a little change then give them something zanny to wear underneath their uniforms.

I can barely stand the subtle changes they made to the uniforms this year.

I'll shoot terry if we roll out in; all blacks, big single red stripes on the pants, all whites(unless against wisconsin)or anything pro combatish.........I would like to see all reds someday though... I liked the look against oklahoma in 88 or 89 i dont remember.......



but really I wouldnt shoot him.... maybe with a egg....

I'm thinkin' that was '87 when we wore all red vs OU.

I LOVED the throw back jerseys. Would like to see throwbacks of other years. Also, I agree with the equipment guy, I loved the long red socks during the Crouch era, wish the would come back.

I really liked the all red uni's as well, even though we got hammered in them. If they chose to wear them under the current circumstances we could change that stigma to a good one
