I say this with all respect:

The only impressive thing I watched during this game was the 85k in attendance.
Darrion Daniels looked good, but he was mediocre at best while at OsU.

It is obvious though that Husker fans aren't front runners. You clowns in B1G West better hope the giant doesn't wake up.

Martinez - you saw or at least read what he did last year. Had some really impressive throws. A 58 yarder on the money and caught by Kade Warner, son of Kurt Warner. Another great throw rolling left to escape trouble, spins around and throws for a TD.

Luke McCaffrey - fourth son of Ed McCaffrey showed a lot of wow. Perfect throw in the end zone but the 4th string receiver did not catch. You could say defense was part of the pass breakup but the receiver had it in his hands. NcCaffrey also had a dynamite run where he just whizzed by the defense. Part of that is the defense was not going all out to hit the QBs as the QBs were under flag football rules.

Noah Vedral - had quite a few really nice throws. Some good wheels.

Andrew Bunch - uh well, uh, hmmm, well, hmmm, oh he was a Mike Riley recruit.

Quarterback play is the one area that impressed me in this game. Last year it was Adrian Martinez and the backup was Andrew Bunch. Emergency backup was a safety.

If Martinez gets hurt Vedral is competent. I expect McCaffrey to redshirt.

The kicker was good.

The rest was meh.
