Nebraska’s game against Miami could be the decisive game of the 2013 Big Ten/ACC Challenge, as television and start times for the annual event were announced Thursday morning.

"The Huskers’ game with the Hurricanes from Pinnacle Bank Arena on Wednesday, Dec. 4, will be televised nationally on ESPNU with a start time of 8:30 p.m. central. It is the final game of the 12-game series, as the Big Ten looks to hold on to the Commissioner's Cup for the fifth consecutive year."

The only argument I see for Century Link is the 3 or 4k more seats and the airport is there. Devaney will be the best volleyball facility in the nation, by far. Pinnacle is designed for basketball, located in a real college town and will sell the fuck out.

I'm already day dreaming about Huskers making the NCAA Basketball tourney and getting a regional in Lincoln. Holy shit~!

LOL. Keep day dreaming because Nebraska wouldn't play in Lincoln. They'll be put in a different regional by rule.

Lincoln is not gonna get an NCAA regional over Omaha though anyway.

If Rupp arena can host, so can Pinnacle.

Capacity is the only remotely legit argument I see. I don't know about the logistics concerning hotels and airport, but I'm looking at the new Haymarket and I just don't see how that's a valid argument anymore.

Most of this shit is just over my head right now. I don't know enough about it to make a strong argument. I just would really like to see if it's logistically possible. My buddy's dad basically headed up the entire Haymarket project. I imagine he would know.

i guess i don't see that at all. Omaha shows up for national events (CWS, swim trials, etc.) regardless of who is in it. not saying lincoln wouldn't do the same, but why would they take a risk and try something new when they know they will get people in if they have it in Omaha?
