At least Baylor can (pathetically) claim they played 9 league games and only had 3 open slots which offsets the embarassing OOC.

With 4 open slots, it is really hard to justify cupcake city.

Miss State- skirting, but not there yet, the Baylor line

They, along with Texas A&M are the reason the SEC passed the 1 P5 a year rule.

To be fair, it's not normal for Miss St to be considered a contender(past the Alabama date anyway). So, they are usually fighting to be bowl eligible. Still, when you have years like this past one where it looked like they might be a contender for sometime, it's a terrible schedule.

I figure Baylor is in the same boat.
