How much will Bell cost us?

La'veon Bell is a beast. Great runner between and off tackle, he can pick up blocks and catch out of the backfield.

It's been a while since we had a back this year.

When it's contract time he's going to ask for a truckload of money - and he'll get it. (deservedly so).

The question is, how much a year?

10M?

Higher?

Lower?

Forward thinker...good question, but one they don't have to answer until after the '15 season season at the earliest...FA year is '17.

I'm guessing lower...in the $4 to $5mil per range with $12/15 mil guarantee...he's not going to make A.Brown type money.

RB's have been fairly devalued over the years. I would say around the $5-6mil per year ballpark. Still a year off from needing to discuss it. Roethlisberger's contract is the primary concern this next offseason.

I dont think the NFL has had a RB with the talent of Bell since dare I say Barry Sanders!!!

And before everyone gets all twisted, The Bus was powerback and great in a league all his own!!! Bell is very talented and one in a million!!! These goofs can take their AP, Demarco Murray, and Beast breath...Bell can out play them all!!!!
