Do you only watch your own team play?

Here's the test. How many games in full (which means at least 30 of 40 mins total) have you watched from other "elite-ish" teams.

Go to the latest AP/Coaches polls and tell me which teams you've seen play this year. If there are unranked teams you've watched then include them in your list. I'll start.

Teams I've seen play: (amount of times I've seen them play in parenthesis)

Florida (2)
Wichita State (2)
Arizona (31) lulz
Duke (4)
Virginia (1)
Villanova (2)
Syracuse (4)
Kansas (2)
Wisconsin (0.5) seen bits and pieces of games but not an entire game yet
San Diego State (2)
Louisville (1)
Michigan (3)
Creighton (1) and I'm upset about this
North Carolina (1)
Iowa State (1)
SMU (1)
Connecticut (2)
New Mexico (1)
Michigan St. (2)
Kentucky (3)

Haven't seen Cincinnati, St. Louis, Texas, Oklahoma, or Iowa play yet this year.

I've watched VCU, BYU all Pac12 teams and OKST outside of the top 25 and that's all I can think of ATM.

Just because you don't watch other teams play doesn't mean you're automatically a homer, either. I just used the title of the thread to troll yall. :suds:

I am pretty much a homer, but I have really enjoyed watching teams other than Houston play in the AAC this year.

AAC! AAC!

There's a fine line between watch and background noise. I wouldn't say I've watched other teams to the point where I could characterize their strengths and weaknesses without some sort of reprisal. I always look forward to The Dance though.

I'll be honest, this is probably the most CBB I've watched in my life. Every year I watch every AZ game, but usually don't get to watch too many other teams. This year that changed thankfully.

Florida (4)

Arizona (29) I was on a plane for one game, and driving from SA to Tucson for another :(
Duke (6)

Syracuse (4)
Kansas (8)
Wisconsin (1)
San Diego State (2)
Louisville (1)
Michigan (5)
Creighton (0)
North Carolina (3)
Cincinnati (1)
Iowa State (2)
St. Louis (0)

Oklahoma (1)
Iowa (1)
Kentucky (3)
Texas (2)

I haven't seen Creighton, St Louis, SMU, or UNM this year.

This is the most CBB I've watched for two reason: first, I just moved to San Antonio, and I don't know anyone. So I'd rather watch CBB. Second, because I am fiercely competitive at Pickem on PGU (and it's my first year playing).

I never felt like I'm a homer. I watch a lot of other teams. More in-conference teams than others, but I do watch others particularly if they are meaningful games.

Due to televised reasons and opponents. Witchita state(who I'm a believer in) and SDSU are only team I haven't seen play at least 10 times of teams that will be in the tourney and are high major.

Obviously haven't watched 14-16 seeds or someone like Gonzaga a whole lot.

Back in undergrad and before my TV was stolen, I'd always have the TV on college basketball when I did homework. I saw significant portions of about 250 games. This year, it's 28 or so Badger games and probably about 50 other games.

You're only a homer if your team loses...

when everybody (except you) knew they'd lose.

here's to us homers!
fuck everybody!

good on you...there are far worse ways to waste your time than watching college hoops.

Really not interested in comparing your list with mine. That said, I have watched just about every game that was part of ranked teams. DVR's....have to love them.

Yep, like watching the NBA!!!!!:L

I'll pause on a pro game if an old Sparty is being highlighted, or something unique is happening...but, thankfully, there are many slightly less loathsome entertainments available...like infomercials for vacuum cleaners or those uber-dorky real estate shows. otherwise,

If any cbb game is on, it becomes focus (or background noise) and I am happy. I get progressively happier as more games become available on more channels. And, during the Madness, I wear FanDepends® 24/7.

A complete blind homer I am, as I should be.

I like watching different teams in different conferences tho. All I ask for is a well officiated game and let the kids decide the outcomes. I prefer college sports over pro sports by a long shot.

I enjoy watching my team more this yr since they did wayy wayy better than expected. Normally I'd watch them still if they sucked but never really get into it until the tourney

Not a homer at all. I plan to watch most of the best teams fall to the Gamecocks on our way to the natty.

I watch BigTen ball as much as possible. A lot of Big12 and ACC and a little SEC. I'll watch PACwhatever games on late night while Im reading, drinking or posting here, not very intently though. But Im a homer for BIGTEN ball in that I only know depth players in the league I care about.
