Second instance of striking Stephen Adams in the groin.

Does the league send a message that THAT style of dirty play will not be tolerated, or do they puss out for whatever convoluted reason?

I recall the league pussed out when they should have suspended Durant earlier in the playoffs. Green should definitely miss 1 game for sure.

What did KD do to warrant suspension? I must have missed it?

Do you need some salve for your chafed pussylips?

At most 1 game. Expecting more than 1 game is pretty ridiculous
Flagrant, malicious, intended to injure possibly permanently.

1 game would be light imho.

You're not getting more than 1 game.....You may not even get a game to be honest with you

Yeah, I can't decide if I'd be more surprised if he got suspended or if he didn't. It's easy to suspend Dahntay Jones because his presence in that series means nothing. Not so easy to suspend one of a teams main players.

I think the NBA has been a little gun shy with suspending a teams main players ever since they pretty much cost the Suns a trip to the finals vs. the Spurs by suspending players for coming off the bench when Horry did his hip check on Steve Nash.

As for it being intentional...I definitely think he was intentionally trying to flail his legs and body to sell a foul, I'm not 100% sure that he meant to catch Adams in the junk though. Pretty hard to know intent. If they don't suspend him and we get an explanation for why they didn't (which we probably won't), that will likely be the explanation.

Cheap shot in the Mavericks series if I recall.

NBA rarely suspends a player unless it was a really really dirty foul after they give him a flagrant 2 at the time of the foul. If they gave KD a flagrant 1 then he may have been suspended

In the last 4 years the NBA has reviewed 9 hits/kicks/punches to the groin.

8 resulted in 1 game suspension. (Cousins, Wade, Schroeder, JR, Harden, Smart, Livginston, Jones)
1 resulted in $25k fine. (Ibaka)

Precedent is set. Expect 1 game suspension.

Were these in the playoffs? That would be the difference. It's easy to suspend one of a teams main players in an 82 game regular season. Not so much during a 7 game playoff series when it could cost that team a series.

Not most of them if I'm thinking straight. Actually I think only Jones came in the playoffs.

bk is right, only the Jones-Biyombo hit came in the playoffs.

I get that the NBA and the fans don't want suspensions to key players in the playoffs... but the NBA can't afford to operate that way, imo.

The whole point is of these suspensions is to keep players from being inured. To keep important players on the floor. That is MORE important in the playoffs.

I get you on the 82 vs the playoffs, but the act is the same...should get a game regardless....otherwise you just encourage it in the playoffs.

Idk if he had a straight face when he said it, but for Kerr to say it wasn't intentional was total BS...I know you don't throw your player under the bus, but just say I couldn't tell from my angle or something.

Admittedly I like Draymond's game, but that pushed the envelope too far...kudos to Adams for not responding and getting kicked out.

Best part was when Kerr said the flagrant should be rescinded lmao
