I see it going down like this:

LSU gets the ball to midfield somehow on the opening drive... they punt it and pin Texas on the 2... Swoopes gets called for intentional grounding in the endzone... LSU up 2-0 with 10:28 left in the first quarter

offensive futility plagues the rest of the half until Texas intercepts LSU with 1:31 left on LSU's 40... they somehow manage to get down to the 28 yard line and kick a field goal as time expires... halftime, Texas leads 3-2


The 2nd half is filled with 3-and-outs along with 2 fumbles by Texas and an interception by LSU

LSU forces Texas to punt the ball and get it back on their own 26 yard line with 3:27 left in the game and two timeouts left.... LSU marches the ball downfield slowly and has it on the Texas 33 yard line... still with one timeout left, they try to rush the field goal unit on the field as the clock runs... they rush to the line, kick the field and shank it..... BUT Texas gets flagged 12 men on the field... LSU gets a 2nd chance drills the game winning field goal with no time left on the clock
