In all fairness Feldman pitched very well in long relief in the ALCS last year against Detroit. He;ped get the Rangers to the World Series. But Feldman's Sinker and cutter just isn't working consistently the way it did ijn 2009 when He won 17 Games. Has had good outings in Long Relief from time to time.

agree with what you said. but i just don't see Feldman as being an intregal cog in the 2012 pitching staff

Feldman will move back to Long Relief when Oswalt is Ready. Feldman signed a 4 year 44 Million Dollar Contract which runs thru 2013. Big Reason why He is still here. Not like the NFL where the Contracts aren't guaranteed. Feldman isn't tradeable right now and He can still eat up innings if the starter gets knocked out early.
