My phone is dead...iphone5c.

like its so dead the little battery icon won't even show up anymore. I read online (where most of the best useful information is found) that if you take a hair dryer or some other heat source for like 5 mins..it will trigger the lithium ion battery and it will start charging again

I've heard of people putting them in an oven on lower settings, but that's a last resort sort of thing and I've seen where when they do come back that they don't last long because of the heat.

Make sure you take the battery out of the phone before you put it in the oven.
