Do either of these teams stand a chance to make the Sweet 16? I think they could give Cuse and Mich St a run for their money. These teams are better than you think.

If NDSU pulls this one out, I really like their chances. I could possibly see Dayton doing it, but NDSU has the best shot.

Dayton might have a shot but I think Harvard gets rolled.

I was surprised Harvard was a 12 seed. They have a bunch of guys from last year's team that was good.

In that order though doubtful any advance. That OU-NDSU game turned into a war. We'll see how fresh they are come Saturday.

The Syracuse zone is there to beat teams that like to go inside. Dayton can shoot the ball and they will hang in with 1st half 3 point shots. 2nd half, those 3's don't go in so easily. I think it's close with Syracuse winning the second half. Just too much talent and too much rebounding for Syracuse to lose. Too many offensive rebounds for easy inside baskets.

I see Dayton through a ton of players at tOSU. With SU's short bench, they'll be looking to wear the cuse down as well. Dayton is a lot bigger than WMich.

But Grant looked like he is getting his step back. The SU baseline of Grant, Fair, Keita and Christmas will still make life real hard down low. I'm not worried about endurance as much as I'm worried about foul trouble or an injury that removes one of those guys.

If the SU starting 5 stay healthy and out of foul trouble, Dayton will be in for a frustrating night.

Just got the Harvard Crimson and Dayton Flyers (as well as all other Atlantic 10 Conference teams) added as profile options for favorite basketball teams thanks to West End Vol!
