Hard to Believe, it's Been 45 years

Led Zepplin IV came out 45 years ago. Almost a half century. I can't seem to wrap my mind around it. I distinctly remember walking into the Wherehouse Record Store with my mom on Grand Ave in San Diego and picking that album up. All the way home she says, "Now don't play that too loud, you know how your father feels about your music." And now fast forward to 2016, and when I crank up Zep and sit out on the porch with a coffee, the wife says, "You realize the whole neighborhood can hear that?" I reply with a smile, and "Why, yes I do!"

the wife can't stand Robert Plant's voice but like there music - go figger

when she isn't home and I am doing chores, I put on their first 5 albums, side 1 on Physical Graffiti, and crank it up so that the windows rattle

I can listen to "Houses of the Holy" and never tire of it. "Trampled Under Foot" is also a great window shaker cranked up at 10.

I do the same thing, and with Black Sabbath too.
