Never been to Flint, but I hear it's a real shithole.....
I guess that's a concise way of putting it.
Flint has been decimated by the shifting global economy. It's not a very pleasant place, and makes Detroit seem like Utopia.
However, one thing Flint has going for it is Kettering University. Formerly known as General Motors Institute (GMI), Kettering University is an exclusive private super-brainiac engineering school. It's pretty tough to get into, but if you graduate from that school with an engineering degree, you basically have a golden ticket for success. The best of the best go to Kettering.
Kettering University
The only time I flew out of Flint, my friend got pulled aside for "random inspection". But his name was Lucious N' Delicious (no joke, that was his legal name on his driver's license), so it was kind of understandable. The only times I've flown out of Flint's Bishop Intl, the TSA has pulled me out of line for the full inspection. I guess they did it as proof that they weren't profiling.
This is so golden good, I feel like I need to make a similar thread.#Anythingforacommit.
Pulling out all the stops!
