That's the only way to get him out of the lineup. Banny will not sit his ass.Dump Choo, JD. Do it.

You will get nothing for Choo. Just bury him and then move him if he gets a hot streak. Must be injuries and regression

You sure seem inclined to ignore his unprofessional attitude as a part (perhaps huge part) of the overall problem.
He has a history of being a good team player minus obvious bonehead triple. I really don't care otherwise. He is hurting lineup offensively and defensively. He does let balls drop in way too much but to me that is a skill deficiency. How he handled CF is puzzling. I think he is so streaky that I would rather bury and sell if he ever gets hot to cut losses. If too much a liability then of course he has to be jettisoned. He may get an IR stint. These things happen
Of course you won't see me crying if we find a trade partner for Choo. Just think his value is now at rock bottom. Maybe he needs that hitting instructor that was all over the internet to intercede
I was for the trade because if his OBP and for in LF/lead off. He can't even get hit by a pitch now. His fielding which even before today is substandard, I missed the boat on. Cruz is even better since he has an armHis history is a modicum of consistency. No idea what his fucking problem is now.

This has been mentioned on the board but we have to entertain trade partners for Gallardo unless we can sign him for a few more years. We would need better than pick gotten via QO
I'd offer Gallardo a two year deal for roughly 25 mil. If he doesn't take it, trade him. We're not contending regardless of whether or not we keep him this season.
You would have to get him at minimum of 2 years QO money whatever they went up to. His stock is high now and we have 3 other pitchers coming back. If Perez comes back strong then I think he may get traded. Not too many are untouchable IMO although obviously not ready to gut team. Yes we need RHB but have been encouraged a bit by pen. Not elite neutral becoming more serviceable. Need a guy though who can induce strikeouts. Not being a fly-on-the-wall and all, I'd like to know how much he'd like to stay here? If I new this, I wonder if he'd be good with a trade to a contender, and then to agree (only agree) to give us a fair shot to resign him in the off season.
He'd bring back quite a bit right now, regardless of what he wants/does next IMO.
I don't think 2 at $25 mil will get it done however.

2/25 would almost be an insult to Gallardo.
