New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks will make his preseason debut Sunday night when the Giants host the Indianapolis Colts at MetLife Stadium.
Nicks was held out of the Giants' first preseason game last weekend in Pittsburgh after missing a portion of training camp with a groin injury. He also is coming off an injury-plagued 2012 season, during which he attempted to play through foot and knee injuries.
Defensive end Justin Tuck will make his debut as well after missing last weekend's game because of tightness in his back.
Fellow defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul remains on the physically unable to perform list as he recovers from offseason back surgery. But coach Tom Coughlin is "encouraged" by what Pierre-Paul did Thursday, technically an off day for the team.
