In all honesty, I applaud this move. Marvin can build a program - Guys play for him. He's tough but commands respect. You keep him away from the red flag, don't listen to a thing he says in end of half/game situations and you'll be just fine.

Lewis is a good coach.

We also have to remember that Brown, while starting to step away from the day to day, still had fair control over what was going to happen.

I actually liked Marvin Lewis for the most part. I felt he got too much leniency to keep his job, as he should have been gone years before he was released, but it all worked out. He is still one hell of a defensive coordinator.
