They have input.. but I dont think there has been a coach in DC that has actually had final roster say since Marty was fired. Sure they hold the title, but I think at the end of the day, Dan retains veto power and is fully cpable of going fuck logic.. I want this guy.

Actually depends on who else is on the board. If Watson AND Fournette are sitting there, I could see Dan chiming in and over ruling them all. Meaning ot might come down to the more exciting of the picks. As I dont expect Fournette to be there, if we havent signed Kirk long term, Watson might actually be the pick.

My issue with Reddick is... a DE switching to ILB. Unless he is simply a guided missile and not expected to make defensive calls.. I think he becomes a two year project if we expect him to be the shot caller on defense. And Im not a huge fa of a position switch project at 17

Right... my guided missile concept. At least in year one. And if thats the idea, put him on the field and have will san.. Hassan go eat QB.. Im all for it. But if we are bringing him in and want him to change positions AND start making defensive calls, we risk over whelming him and we have seen how that goes.

I do think watson is the best Qb but if Allen and DAN did this both would get killed by the fans and the media since Allen said kirk is are QB

THE only thing that worrys me about allen is deep draft picks 5-7 range and finding UNDRAFTED FA GEMS

I agree he isnt the best QB... but he is the type QB and player I think the owner wants. He would be for all intents the shiniest toy on the shelf.
