Well I will say I never heard of Holzman but Rivers and Kerr stand out
Fitch was a grinder. I watched NBA 80's films religiously as a teenager. He even took a garbage 90's Clippers team to the playoffs. Spo, Doc, and Larry Brown don't belong on his level.

Spo is a better coach than Kerr imo

Rivers is the easy one. He shouldn’t be in there

I spy one name that definitely doesn’t belong
Three guys on this list I'd have Bill Fitch ahead of. I bet you could name them.

That’s funny, the reason why I even saw the Tweet was because Doc Rivers was trending.

Larry Brown is the best coach in overall basketball history and it isn't that close.

The fuck is Doc doing up there? He consistently underachieves with talented teams and its largely due to his coaching (and lack of adjustments). Didn't he blow two 3-1 leads? I mean if you're gonna put in a coach from the same era, Rick Carlisle is better than him. Push it back a decade and I'd put Rudy T over him too. Push it back further,Bill Fitch died last week, did they already forget about him?

There's one guy you never hear mentioned with great coaches and that's Billy Cunningham.

Granted his squads were very good during his time, but he was the coach of a championship Squad. He only coached 8 seasons in his career and here was his records as a coach:

77-78: 53-23 (took over after Gene Shue was fired going 2-4 to start the season, 2nd round Exit)
78-79: 47-35 (2nd Round exit)
79-80: 59-23 (NBA Finals)
80-81: 62-20 (Eastern Conference Finals)
81-82: 58-24 (NBA Finals)
82-83: 65-17 (NBA Champions)
83-84: 52-30 (first round exit)
84-85: 58-24 (Eastern Conference Finals)

I love Kerr, obviously, but he hasn't earned top 15 yet. His teams have been blessed with talent and he won two of his titles while fielding what was arguably the greatest team ever.

Along with Kerr, I am also not convinced about K.C. Jones and Spo, but I love the rest of the list. Maybe there aren't enough replacements to make it 15, but I think Alex Hannnum and John Kundla belong.

That is just such a ridiculous thing to say on multiple levels.
Might have gone a bit overboard, but I do think he's the best coach on that list of 15.
