They put on some pretty damn cool shows. I'm dumbfounded with how they were able to pull that off. Seems like a show that would take forever to get down...but they did a completely different show the week before. Surely they didn't get that down in 1 week.

Don't they do some crazy stuff on the regular? Maybe they are just use to re-practicing difficult routines in a hurry. You also have to believe they practice all year round, so i'm sure they got it down in the offseason and then practiced the routine this week.

Yes, they're halftime shows are usually above average. and very innovative.

they usually learn each game's show in one week. Occasionally they do start practicing for some shows the week prior, but its rare. Plus they memorize each show's music........ in 1 week. not easy. Most bands have flip folders out on the field. There is a 2 hr. practice every day, plus they practice on their own to memorize the music.

The offseason is only practice for trying out and getting into the band.

As a big OSU, the band is the most electrifying non-football experience you can get. It's an intregal part of any Buckeye game. Script Ohio still brings chills to me.

outstanding shows to be sure. UW's are kind of boring and really give you an extra excuse to go out to 'the zone' and get liquored up for the second half. Kind of miss the days when the band was good and did cool shit like this. Was better on the liver too.
