That defense keeps playing like that, they can go a long way. See ya in Soldier in November!:suds:

Thanks,

Not sure why you guys didn't just keep running Forte instead of letting Cutler try to win the game. Forte was more than solid. Cutler really messed it up.

Not sure about that either. Maybe Trestman felt desperate after it quickly got to 30-10...I dunno.

and it was strange that they quit testing the edges. After having so much success with it, most of their running plays were pretty much between the tackles. One thing I feel confident about is that no team is going to have much success running it up the gut against this Lions D.

That whole second quarter was like being lost in the Bermuda Triangle. By halftime, I was questioning both reality and wondering if I was seeing things.

Rematch in Soldier will be a war.

Well said. Rematch should be a fun one, too.

I only have 1 question, how did Detroit lose to Arizona?

Great game by Detroit, see what a real running back can do for a team? See you in Soldier Field! Oh, and Beat GB.

it is real simple we lost reggie bush for the 2nd half.
then (my special theory) when our defense returned a touchdown in the 3rd quarter the result was our offense did not see the field for almost an hour real time. so come 4th quarter when things need to be clutch they were cold and without a huge weapon. plus screw the prevent defense

Haven't won in AZ in > 20 years. It's just one of those things, like losing in DC was and winning at Lambeau which will hopefully end Sunday.

The prevent defense AND offense is what lost the game in AZ.

Agreed. I wondered this as well. Especially on the drives that we settled for FG's. We'd stick to the run until we were down in the red zone, and then abandon it. Strange.
