My wife wants me to read the book before we see the movie... I decided to get the audio book (I drive for 80 minutes every day)... I do not like the writing style (or the reading style of the guy reading it)....

I didn't read the book so I can't answer this. Though I heard people saying the movie is pretty much like the book.... though slightly different in the movie.

I finally just watched this movie and I wanted to see if this movie had been discussed here so that I can see if others have the same opinion about the ending as I do. I see that a lot of us agree that the ending was crap. The movie was great and very exciting until the last twenty minutes or so when everything got weird.

I really disliked this film. Maybe it was cuz of all the hub-bub about it, coupled with it actually sucking bawls?
It was too fucking long, and the ending was fucking ridiculous. I was noticeably annoyed when leaving the theater with my wife.

Oh, I still failed at that.
We were on vacation in another town, seeing the Pixies. On our free day she drug me kicking and screaming to that. I LOATHE going to movies when on vacation somewhere. Total waste of time IMO, I wanna go see new shit, not a dark theater.
She won and lost I think.
