That's the new rumor. Golson to LSU and Braxton Miller to FSU. Interesting year coming up.

Golson move makes complete sense. LSU is a real threat next year if they get a QB of Golson's level. It also works perfectly for Golson because their running back will be the focal point of defenses. I wish he would transfer to a school I didn't hate so much though.

I wish him the best of luck. he messed up in school. most kids would've just transferred out. he took the punishment and came back. bk really got in his head imo. he needed to get out of south bend. I expect big things from him if he does go to lsu

This would be a nice pick up for LSU. I like the fit with that RB in the backfield.

Both Moves would be great moves. LSU would be a Top 10 team with Golson.

That depends on the turnovers, they could be a top 10 team without him too. If he plays fairly mistake free he would be good any place he went.

I've also read that the report is false.

Not with the QB they currently have. They'll be too one dimensional.

Golson seemed to refute the story on Twitter. George Whitfield also took to Twitter to refute the story as well.

I think he should transfer. I just don't see him beating out Zaire. Zaire is better at everything except for maybe throwing the deep ball but Zaire will improve with that.

what is the transfer deadline? Can he play spring ball and decide after that?

I'm not sure he would have to wait until May to do much other than declare he's going to. Because he has to become a grad student in order to play right away.

He would have to graduate in May in order to play somewhere else next year. He's already lost a year of eligibility due to his academic suspension, plus his redshirt year. If he transferred before spring ball, unless he was granted a waiver (doubtful), he would have to sit out another year, which would end his eligibility. I think if he wants to leave, he has to graduate in the spring first, so either way, he'll be here for spring ball. Seems to me that if he intends to leave, though, he should be upfront about it, otherwise he's wasting the team's time and Kizer could use the extra first team reps that would otherwise go to Golson.

I highly doubt Golson would leave South Bend for LSU!
