Hard to see him at this point of the season try to make a come back. Just have no clue the type of shape he has stayed in and if the Seahawks would even want him back with how much they devoted to the RB position this off season expecting him to be gone.

I really doubt he comes back, though that does seem like it may be a Marshawn thing to do. But the Hawks still own his rights, so some sort of transaction would have to happen for him to play cuz it aint happening for him in Seattle at this point. The transition away from him really happened last year. He would need to be cut or traded by Seattle to play this year.

He's been playing football at Cal practices. Still in shape. Seattle could decide he'd be nice to add to the mix at some point, but the salary situation would need to be figured out.

I guess I just view it as they used 2 decent picks on RB's this past draft, still have Rawls, and brought back Michael to cover the position. Not saying they couldn't use a guy like Lynch as any team could use a guy like Lynch if he is in shape but I just feel like Seattle has moved on and not sure how it would go with trying to trade him at his age or get a team to sign him to a contract he would be happy with.

He hasn't done anything against the Rams in years, so I welcome him back with open arms.

Hell, Holifield is still out there boxing.

As a Hawks fan, PLEASE NO. I hope Seattle does not even entertain bringing him back. We have two young studs in Michael/Rawls and a great 3rd down option in Prosise. Collins looked terrible in preseason but who knows there as well.

Lynch would be taking away playing time from younger and FAR more ambitious players that are looking to get paid.

Love what Lynch did for Seattle. Definitely got us two 2 super bowls, but time to move on. Obviously with Seattle owning his rights if we could trade him for ANYTHING I'd be ecstatic.

Isnt there some rule where Vets signed after week 1 can be cut and no money is owed to them?

Makes no sense for him to come back now, when he could have come back a week ago.

No. Crazily enough, he never spent his salary while he was playing. Just lived off his endorsements and saved.

It looked like Marshawn has a show or something coming out and he was just creating some pub.

I don't him coming back to the Hawks. From listening to Pete Carroll, they feel great about their running backs so why would they want to alter the plan now and slow their develppment.

Methinks Marshawn might just be trying to stay relevant
