OK if that helps you sleep.
I don't need anything to help me sleep, but thanks for the concern... I know this team has a badass future ahead of it...

They were 4th worst in the leagueThat New Orleans defense was so damn bad that they ended up the #1 seed in the NFC. And yes, I know they have a badass offense, but you cannot end up in that position by Offense alone I today's NFL...
Btw, I saw quite a few Saints games this season and their secondary made some HUGE plays when they had to.... The addition of Eli Apple from the Giants helped them quite a bit at times...
No one is denying they have a super talented team.I don't need anything to help me sleep, but thanks for the concern... I know this team has a badass future ahead of it...
Personally I think both Tranny and Flaccid get starting gigs. I was just arguing the point if the Rams were to sign a QB with expirience they should target Flacco instead of Tanny.
Not that I think they'll be able to sign a vet of that caliber to sit the bench. I don't think they have the cap space. Especially with all the contracts coming up.
Rams are following right along with what Seattle and Philly did. Well except those teams won a SB before they had to start letting players go.
I know Ram fans don't like this bit if they don't strike pay dirt these next two drafts they will be in trouble.
Someone is triggered
6x SB Champ.

But they likely have one more shot before all those contracts start coming due.
2019 they'll likely start feeling the pinch when guys like Suh move on.
You also have Fowler due this year. All three are going to get paid somewhere.Suh played pretty AWFUL this season until the playoffs, unless he takes a pay cut, he can be replaced(and this is coming from a guy who wanted Suh over Bradford back in the day)....
As for our salary cap, we happen to be in a VERY good place... yes we do have some guys who might need to be re-signed(like Saffold).... However, our front office has left us in a pretty great situation in the future even after a Goff re-signing...
I just looked it up. Rams only have 4 picks this year. 1 In the first 3 rounds. YikesSuh played pretty AWFUL this season until the playoffs, unless he takes a pay cut, he can be replaced(and this is coming from a guy who wanted Suh over Bradford back in the day)....

2020 is Whitworth, Brokers, Talib, Sullivan, Zurlien, Peters, Higbee...
Sorry I don't see that as being VERY good. Rams need to nail this draft. You don't just replace all that talent for nothing.

No I'm not aware of that. Especially with the talent the Rams received vice what they lost. You do know that we are owed at least 2 or 3 third rounders in compensatory selections, right?

As of now, the Rams have about 80 mil in cap room for 2020... Whitworth and Sullivan will likely retire, Talib probably will too... Higbee has been very so-so...
As a Patriots fan, you should also know that somerimes players stay with a winning team on a cheaper contract because they like the culture and want to win... Belichick is that type of coach and McVay seems to be the same kind of guy so far(like Suh coming to LA even though he has offered more elsewhere this season)
80 is a good number. Not sure where it will be after 2019. A lot depends on who they sign and for how much this year.
Then there are things like injuries we hope never happen that always do and that takes a bite out of the pocketbook depending on who you bring in?
I could be wrong but I think last season and this upcoming year will be the Rams best based solely on talent. Barring a great draft.
Still not sure that equates to at least 2 or 3, 3rd round comp picks. We'll have to see what the NFL comes up with this year.Watkins and Johnson were F/A when they left....
