That series sweep was a statement. Hard to ignore that. Kinda have a feeling this early series will have an impact down the road as far as head-to-head standings and playoff positioning goes. Hats off to them.
I think it definitely helped in showing that the Braves are for real but I'm not looking too deep into it at this point, it's still very early in the season. It's also going to be nice getting McCann, Freeman and Beachy back. Although it's gonna be tough to decide who stays and who goes when everybody's healthy.
No way Gattis goes down. He'll most likely be platooned at catcher/first whenever he can and pinch hit
Oh I hear ya. Don't count the chickens before they hatch and all that. Still better than leaving DC with a 1-2 record though!
I'm actually prepared to suffer through next season too just in case. Hopefully by 2017 they'll be more than a AAA team. The NL East is basically a slap fight amongst tards all the way around this season. The Braves can beat or lose to the best or beat or lose to the worst - makes no difference. Hummm! As the batters mature and improve and if Braves can get or develop a great closer, 2016 can be a good year. Fans just have to suffer thru remainder of 2015 and watch team develop.
Who are you? 445 posts since 2011? Did you get lost? The Braves can beat or lose to the best or beat or lose to the worst - makes no difference. Hummm!
