No, it won't. Alabama just won the College Football Playoff. UGA didn't. Clemson didn't. OU didn't. UCF didn't. Alabama are the champions. They won the game fair and square.

The selection committee wants to establish a selection process where the conference championship means a lot. If it wants to do that, it should not have choosen Alabama to make it to the playoffs
