Giants now are 11-13 in the first games of series.

At one point, they were 9-6 in opening games of series.

And we now trail the Sandy Eggo's by half a game.

Sucks to lose but I think we all kinda expected it with no Posey, Pablo, Scutaro, Pagan. The fact that we took it to extras, despite the goof by Abreu and some small issues, we are showing signs of life

I'm not saying Perez gets a hit. But based off Schulman's point, we are in a situation where we have runners on 1st and 2nd with one out. Torres may have PH for Perez then K'd, or maybe he hits into a GIDP.

Yeah I hear ya. BUT, say Torres walked (lol), Boch could have then used Posey to hit for Perez and go from there.

Hard to win with your 1-2-3-4 hitters out. Gutsy pitching today but it eventually caught up to them, with the guys you expected.

Tough game to lose when you were so close to winning without the top half of your lineup. Great play by Venable, always seems to play well against the Giants. Really liking what I have seen from Perez, to bad he likely gets sent down when Angel gets back healthy. I'd like him to stay up, but he won't get many ABs even if they keep him up, Bochy loves Andres. Liked to see Rosario do well in that spot. Two big Ks and love the emotion. Knew Mijares would blow it, he's been bad against right handers all year.

This was a great game, sure, but almost as active as the greatest game in SF Giants history?
