I can't see exactly what Bum is throwing on Gameday ... but all three hits came with two strikes on the batter. With two out and runners on second and third I would have made sure that Beltran would have one hell of a job trying to reach anything after the
2nd strike ... damn this is frustrating

My only comfort is to realize that this must have been what Reds, Cards, and Tiggers fans must have been feeling last October/November. For the Cards to beat up on the Giants must be like how the 49ers felt after beating Dallas with "the Catch".

But as a Giants fan, this is awful, awful baseball, and disheartening to watch.

If we took 1 game in this series I'd be happy. Not a negative nancy but with the injuries (Sandoval, Pagan) are MVP being cold, our pitching like Antarctica, being on the road against the best team in the NL. It was just the perfect storm.
