What the hell is with the Flyers just becoming a collective bunch of limp biscuits when they play the water birds this year?

the Pens speed seems to be causing the Flyers problems since the coaching change. that could be a problem in the playoffs if they match up.

I don't think there's anything wrong with you guys, this might just be the fastest Pens team I've seen in my life. I'm sort of worried how we would answer the rough stuff in the playoffs however. Fast as we might be, I think we lack size.

I think you guys are currently in good position for the playoffs, Flyers matched up real well against the Capitals this season, better than they did against the Panthers IMO.

I felt that Simmonds, Gostisbehere, & MacDonald played well for the Flyers yesterday. Simmonds brought the physical play while Gostisbehere & MacDonald did the best job of keeping up with the Pens' skating.

Voracek also got a nice deflection setting up in front of our net. That's probably going to be tough for us to defend due to our lack of size.

We fell for the same play at least 8-10 times. Someone from the Pens would drive deep put on the brakes and hit the trailer for a goal or scoring opportunity. That is too many times plain and simple

Big game against the Red Wings tonight. With a win, you guys are in a strong position to take the final wildcard spot ahead of Boston & Detroit. I think you guys match up better against the Capitals than you do against the Panthers, so the 2nd wildcard spot might be ideal for the Flyers.

Flyers need to get physical with the Pens. The Pens got the speed under them, and the way to slow that down is to beat them up a little bit.
And this rookie goalie, if we would of hit him with the 30 to 40 shots we have been hitting teams with, this guy would of broke. But the Pens just skated circles around us and beat us. We need to beat them, take the collar off Gudas and let him just beat some guys.

I don't know why we don't implement nearly ANY strategy that gets to the Pens besides coming out and being apparently mesmerized in some sort of trance that makes us look like we never showed when we play those guys.
