I think we could have won that game if Tillman didn't revert back to his old self or better yet, mental midget Daniel Cabrera in the 3rd inning. Also, is O'Day starting to get tired as well, he's been giving up a lot more home runs lately. Britton is also making me worry. I don't know what he was trying to accomplish last night but 11 straight out of the zone is very concerning. This is going to be a short series if our pitching staff keeps falling apart like that.

Unfortunately, it seem that we might have a case of a 3-team cycle where A matches up well against B, B against C, and C against A. In this case, A = Orioles, B = Angels, and C = Royals (if you count both the regular season and the postseason so far).

Game 2 was lost when Buck decided to put the game in Adam Jones' hands by letting him swing with runners on 1st & 2nd with no out. He should have had Adam bunt in that situation to move the runners and Cruz singles after that. We take the lead and who knows. But we will never know because we didn't bunt to move the runners. Stupid call imo by Buck!

But also Buck's decision to throw Britton back out there after his horrendous (and personally, the WORST relief appearance I have ever witnessed in person without giving up a run) outing the night before.
