Don't be a jabroni.
End of March already? 2024 is flying by. Feels like NYE was yesterday.
Game day again, game time is 7pm as they're in Calgary and it's on KCAL 9 vs the usual BSW. Local TV so a lot of people will be able to catch this game.
The Kings need a bounce back from that whooping they took against the Oil on Thursday night, the Flames have faded and have lost 5 straight including to the Blues 5-3 on Thursday. Blues are still very much in the hunt so the Kings need the points. Thw good news is apart from the Jets on Monday and Vancouver a week from now the remaining 8 games including tonight are against non PO teams (the strength of schedule I was referring to). Thw bad news is these guys are so unpredictable they could totally put up a stinker tonight or in any of those 8 games.
Few line up changes carrying over from Thursday, Arvdisson will stay on L1 with 11 and 9 while 55 moved to L3 with 80 and 61. Lewis on L3? Hiller truly is a mix master. Arty Retardy looks like he will be in tonight again on L4 so they will go 12/6 with Moverare sitting although he's with the team. L2 unchanged (22/24/12), Rittich to get the start against his former team.
Season is coming down to the wire, Vegas won again today 2-1 in OT against Minnesota so again, even with a win the Kings will not jump back into PD3. Just get the points tonight and don't play down to the Flames' level. While still mathematically alive at 71 points, they won't make the POs this year.
Prediction: 4-2 Kings. Arvidsson, Kempe, Buster finally gets one again and Fiala.
Let's Go Kings!
