How did Joseph even get in? Is he excelling defensively? Cause his slash line is rather pedestrian. Or is it like the bigs where each org gets at least one representative?

My understanding is that the orgs have most say in who goes. I think it tends to say more about how the orgs think about their kids than anything else.

Makes sense. FWIW, I wasn't trying to hate on Joseph. He's the 3rd youngest player in his league, and isn't completely overwhelmed by the huge jump in pitching talent.

I got this from the page that describes how Wheeler is doing: "Major League Baseball, along with the Major League Baseball Scouting Bureau, MLB.com, Baseball America and the 30 Major League baseball clubs, selected the 25-man rosters."

Now I am depressed after reading about Wheeler.
