I agree. The Seminole tribe had FSU over a barrel when the federal government and the NCAA stated these types of mascots were insensitive nd should b changed. They did not ask for FSU to change it then. I do not get the change and it has been pretty hush hush until they sent out the video on youtube. I have seen a supposed rendering and it looks fucking stupid. But it was the Athletic Department's choice to do so because they said it would be cheaper to make items. Not sure how in the fuck that is true. I guarantee they did this without the approval of the big boosters or BOT. Will have to wait until the Spring Game to see what it looks like.
