Riley LaRue, son of former WFU star Rusty LaRue, dies

Rusty LaRue played at Wake Forest from 1992-1996 and later was an Assistant Coach from 2009-2014

He also played for the Chicago Bulls from 1997-1999.

Rusty played three sports at Wake Forest. He was a key member on the basketball team in the 90s, was the starting QB on the football and spent a season as a pitcher at Wake. He was also recently named the head (basketball) coach at West Forsyth High School, a local school in the Winston-Salem area.

RIP Riley. From all accounts, he was a great kid.
