Hopefully it's not true...it's annoying that this always comes from displaced personnel. Why not speak up earlier?

According to the doctor, it was his attempts to speak up that got him fired.

At worst this will get James Franklin a plaque and at best a statue, all he has to do is win something.

Nothing surprises me from anyone willing to coach at that trash program considering their disgusting history.

Mcsorley was a good college QB but hit his ceiling and got exposed for what he was. Baker Mayfield without the arm strength and accuracy.

Should be a pretty substantial lawsuit then...hopefully he has the paper trail to back it up.

yeah, more mobile than baker, had the tebow and bake leadership, willed his team to wins.........didnt have to to have the greatest arm strength and accuracy in college, see tebow

I do not know all of the details, but the Penn State-Kentucky Citrus Bowl is on the SEC Network right now. Injured McSorley keeps getting sent back in the game. Could this be in reference to this?

According to the article, he didn't list any actual examples of Franklin "pressuring" him.

Coaches and doctors are pretty much always going to be at odds over whether or not a player should be cleared to play.

The coaches are always going to want them back asap and the doctor is always going to want to err on the side of caution.

For that matter, players and doctors are always going top be at odds over it as well.

If Franklin's "pressure" was..."Hey Doc, are you sure he can't play? We really need him." Or "Hey Doc, he says he wants to play. Is he injured or just hurt?" Then I don't really see a problem.

But, if it was more along the lines of "Hey Doc, clear him or else." Then that's a problem.
